Agenda: How can I list my own events ?

Currently there's no form available to enter your Events yourself, however you can mail the necessary information to the webmaster.

Automatic Stations: The information is not correct, will you correct it ?

Since keeping this information up-to-date is quite difficult, Belgian HAM Radio offers you the option to enter comments, or change the status of the automatic stations yourself. In order to do so, click on the status bullet, and choose Update at the bottom of the detail page. Only with the help of local radio amateurs, we can keep this list accurate.

Callbook: How comes my call is not listed ?

Due to privacy regulations, Belgian HAM Radio has choosen not to include any callsign information automatically. Only callsigns entered by the owner himself are available, however we cannot prevent (but do have some measures in place) that someone else enters your information.

Callbook: Do you sell or give away my personal information ?

Belgian HAM Radio will never provide information which is marked as private to anyone ! Public information may however be provided to third parties (only if they're strictly related to amateur radio), unless you've choosen not to do so. We also cannot prevent that people re-key data into their own system.

Callbook: The information is not correct, will you correct it ?

A form is available to update your call information at any time, by going to your call details, and select Update at the bottom of the page. Please do not send any changes to the Webmaster, but use this form to make your changes. On a monthly basis, your license expiry date, and date of birth is extracted from the BIPT database.

Callbook: How do I get a password ?

A password can be obtained by entering your call in the ON-line callbook. If you've already entered your call, but don't remember your password anymore, please use the 'Forgot my password' link in the Callbook menu.

Chat: How do I report abuse ?

The irc channel is not owned, and neither controlled by Belgian HAM Radio, but provided by krey.net If you notice any abuse, please contact krey.net with the required information, and CC the Webmaster of Belgian HAM Radio.

For Sale: Can I enter my items for free ?

Yes ! Belgian HAM Radio is a fully independent initiative and does not require a membership of any other organisation. We only require you to enter your call details in the ON-line callbook. If you feel you need to donate something in return, please visit your local amateur radio club and participate in their events promoting amateur radio.

For Sale: My item is sold, what now ?

In order to prevent people from keeping contacting you, look up the item details and select Remove and the bottom of the page. A new screen will appear where we ask you to specify the reason of removal (which provides us some feedback).

Forum: Is guest access available ?

No, not at this moment. Please enter your call in the ON-line callbook if you want to post new topics.

Links: Can you add my personal link ?

The personal links are automatically extracted from the ON-line callbook. If you don't see you're personal link, it means it is not available in your callbook details. Please follow the procedure to update your callbook details.

Maps: I marked my QTH but it doesn't show up on the map ?

Check your call details, your call will only show up on the map if your address isn't marked 'private'.
